09/11/2024 08:00 AMThis November, voters of the 23rd District have the opportunity to elect someone who understands our community, represents our values, and fights tirelessly to make our voices heard in Hartford. Democratic candidate Jane Wisialowski has my vote.
Jane and I have been neighbors, friends and workers in many professional and volunteer organizations for over 15 years. I have witnessed many examples of her strong leadership skills, easy collaborative approach and complete dedication to the task at hand.
Jane spearheaded the first Goodwin School Science Day. She organized every aspect including creating experiments and recruiting volunteers. Over the years Jane served as PTO president and chair of Old Saybrook Safe Graduation Night. Currently, Jane serves on the Old Saybrook Parks and Recreation Commission and the Board of Education.
We deserve a state representative who knows the issues important to our residents and stands up for our rights. Jane is the only candidate talking about maintaining safe and effective schools, investing in coastal resilience, protecting women’s reproductive health, expanding gun safety, increasing affordable housing, and ensuring services and benefits for our older and disabled residents. Join me in voting for Jane WisialowskI this November.
