Build a Better 35th District

My name is Cinzia Lettieri, and I’m honored to be your candidate for state representative for the 35th District, representing Clinton, Westbrook, and Killingworth. I’m running because our community deserves strong, compassionate leadership—someone who will ensure our voices are heard and our needs are met in Hartford.

As a Clinton native and Morgan graduate, I care deeply about improving our education system, expanding access to women’s healthcare and healthcare rights, and addressing long-neglected infrastructure issues. I’ve seen our district’s challenges and believe that by working together, we can overcome them.

Growing up in a blue-collar immigrant family in Clinton, I learned the value of hard work, integrity, and perseverance. Since graduating with my M.Ed. in Policy and Leadership, I have spent 15 years in education, policy, and advocacy. During that time, I’ve worked with nonprofits and community organizations to create effective policies and secure grants. As a teacher, I’ve seen firsthand the importance of strong public schools and multiple pathways to college or career.

Locally, I serve on Clinton’s Water Pollution Control and Planning and Zoning Commissions, where I’ve witnessed how thoughtful, proactive representation can improve our daily lives. I’m committed to bringing that same dedication to the state legislature. I’m asking for your support because I believe together, we can make a difference. I’m asking for your vote because I’m committed to being the leader our community needs. Together, we can build a better 35th District that reflects our shared values and aspirations. Let’s move forward with leadership that works for all of us on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
