Will Be Missed

Some years ago, not long after she was first elected, I asked State Representative Christine Palm for help with a new state requirement. I appreciated her efforts, which really won me over, even though she was unable to change the policy.

What impressed me even more came years later. I saw her at a public meeting, still advocating for the same issue!

That says a lot about her commitment to serving ordinary people like me. She’s the real thing, a rare species in today’s politics. She’s been a good friend to us all.

It was with some concern that I read that she would not be running again. She will be missed, and I wish her well. She deserves it. Hopefully, whoever replaces her will carry on from her example.
