Working Well Together

I am Chet Bialicki, presently serving on the Westbrook Board of Selectmen in the Democratic seat since 2021. I am a strong proponent of bipartisan leadership and decision-making, working together very efficiently and effectively with the other members of the board. The Town of Westbrook has come a long way in the past two years, opening the doors and minds of many individuals to come together in a way that I haven’t seen before.

There has not been one issue that has surfaced, to my knowledge, affecting the town, which hasn’t been given attention and moved forward. Numerous extensive grants have come our way through the efforts of highly qualified individuals who have been hired and appointed. Committees are working together on a Town Center Revitalization Project, and the Planning of Conservation and Development Implementation Committee I serve on has brought the town and schools closer together to address some shared services in our 10-year plan.

I know that I have influenced change and have been instrumental in our progress, but most importantly, I feel that I have opened the door to relationships among everyone I come across. We are all working together well, and the town leaders are focusing on all the issues that will bring us forth in progress while maintaining the small-town atmosphere that we are accustomed to.

I thank you for the opportunity to serve you over the past two years and ask for your continued support in this next election.
