Deserve Thanks

I was a professional colleague of Chet Bialicki for over 30 years in the Westbrook school system. I witnessed the ever-evolving skill set Chet developed over the course of his career. He now demonstrates, daily, his ability to work cooperatively with individuals, foster consensus, and empower others to engage in effective decision-making techniques.

Selectman Bialicki has taken these well-honed skills and shared them with his fellow Board of Selectmen members. As the minority voice on the Board, he has helped shape a very positive climate that focuses on the best interests of the people of Westbrook while avoiding any partisan bickering or distractions. The team embraces respect for each other’s opinions, displays a collective open-mindedness when tackling issues, and, most often, reaches unanimous decisions after due diligence is completed.

Chet Bialicki and the entire Board of Selectmen deserve constituents’ thanks for doing the Town’s business in a way that serves as a model for others in government to emulate.
