Always Put Our Kids First

Old Saybrook schools are a source of pride and joy to our community. I am proud to have raised my children here and that they have had the opportunity to get a great education. As chair of the Board of Education (BOE), I have worked to continue this tradition of excellence alongside some amazing board members.

I am happy to say that we leave our politics at the door on the BOE and work collaboratively to do what is in the best interest of our students, teachers, and staff. This approach has worked well for decades and has led to our current stature and made Old Saybrook an incredibly desirable place to live and raise a family. Our schools have deservedly received honors from the state, and I expect more accolades in the future.

For me, this is all about ensuring our kids get the best experience possible. They deserve a wonderful education and one that will serve them well in their futures. I believe the Republican candidates – all incumbents – are best suited to serve. On Tuesday, Nov. 7, I ask you to support Kelley Kennedy, Karina Julius, Alan Hyla, and Jim Henderson for the Board of Education. They will always put our kids first. Thank you.
