Seth Klaskin and Cathy Miller have my vote for Board of Education on Tuesday, Nov. 7. For the last four years, they have focused on ensuring a smooth reintegration of students into the classroom and have concentrated on addressing the mental health crisis, which was a result of the pandemic.

As board chair, Seth has, in collaboration with the entire board and administration, led the introduction of Social Emotional Learning and an emphasis on the safety and security of our schools. He understands that when our kids feel safe and heard, the learning comes more easily.

Cathy, as a retired teacher, values transparency within the school district and knows the power of strong leadership, positive work culture, and a “kids first” approach to all things related to the school community. She always considers kids first when making decisions and voting on important initiatives.

I am proud to endorse these Democratic candidates for the Board of Education and hope you will join me in voting for Row A on Nov. 7.
