An Asset for Our Town

I am writing this letter in support of Joel D’Angelo, who is a candidate for selectman. As a new member of the Killingworth community, I had the opportunity to meet Joel for the first time. He is warm and affable, well-informed, and a valuable member of our community. He has called Killingworth his home for 15 years, but most impressive is that he has served Regional School District 17 on the Board of Education for 12 of those years. During that time, he served as the chair and is currently secretary. His commitment to contributing to the excellence of our school system is an asset for our town but also reflects the commitment he will bring to his role as selectman.

Joel has been an educator for over 20 years and holds a Ph.D. in biology. This level of knowledge will certainly benefit our town when it comes to crucial decision-making on environmental issues. As an environmentally conscious resident of Killingworth and one who appreciates the natural beauty of our town, I have confidence that Joel will be a competent and caring shepherd of our natural resources and an informed official on environmental concerns.

I urge all voters to appreciate what this candidate has done for Killingworth, but more importantly, what he will continue to do as selectman! Joel D’Angelo has my vote, and I hope he will have yours too!
