A New Face in Local Politics
Local elections have the lowest of turnouts but are much more important to your quality of life. I urge you to participate on Nov. 7, and here is another reason why. Today, there is a new face in local politics you should consider. You actually have something positive and somebody to vote for! Many of us are wedded to a party line, as I have also been, but considering the quality, ideas of candidates, and their work ethic is of higher importance.
I’m speaking of Hank Teskey, who is running for a seat on the Town Council. I met Hank while serving on the old Board of Selectmen, where I was named Chairman of the Town Manager Search Committee. Hank was appointed to that important committee as a citizen representative. Later on, we worked together on the Clinton Economic Development Commission. I found him to be well-informed, wise, a contributor, and dedicated to improving Clinton. He also has significant business and financial experience. On top of that, he is friendly and completely approachable. I urge you to vote for Hank Teskey on Nov. 7. He will be found on the top line of the ballot under Town Council.
