Strong and Steady Leadership

As we approach the municipal election season in Old Saybrook, I’ve noticed more negative rhetoric on our local social media sites, and it’s left me wondering why some folks are such cynics—so opposite of how most of us view our lovely town.

I believe Old Saybrook is indeed special. We are guided by values like community, culture, and the greater good. We are friends, neighbors, teachers, coaches, volunteers, and business owners — all looking to make a difference in life.

We have a track record of success, and it’s no accident that most of our boards and commissions are Republican-led. Old Saybrook Republicans have delivered strong and steady leadership, a legacy of sound governance, fiscal management, public safety, strong schools, attention to infrastructure, and land preservation. Our quality of life is authentic and top-notch.

When it’s time to vote this November, please vote for the very qualified Republican slate of candidates and keep Old Saybrook a special place for all of us to call home.
