Humbly Requesting Support, Trust
I, Brian Roccapriore, am writing to introduce myself to the residents of Clinton as a Democratic candidate for the upcoming Town Council elections on Nov. 7. We’re going to have a meet and greet on Sunday, Aug. 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Clinton Town Beach, and would love to have you come out and chat. Also always happy to connect over email at brianrocc@gmail.com.
Why am I running? I’ve lived here for 11 years now, had two kids graduate from Morgan, with one more currently attending Elliot. I love this town and know there is so much potential in our community. For the past 20 years, I’ve had the opportunity to lead local, state, and national programs - in both the workforce development and housing sectors. These experiences, along with being an active resident here in town, have provided me with valuable insights into the challenges faced by our residents and the solutions that can be implemented to address them.
I will likely be knocking on your door, sitting next to you at park and rec games, or bumping into you at the grocery store at some point in the next few months as I humbly request the community’s support and trust. I’m not going to pretend to have all the answers, and I’m looking forward to connecting with you, listening to your concerns, and learning from your perspectives.
Likely, although I can’t say for a fact, I’m the only candidate with a unicorn tattooed on his leg—so if anything, I’m easily identifiable.
This is my first time running for an elected position, and I’m genuinely excited about the opportunity to serve the residents of Clinton. The people in our town agree on so much more than we don’t, and there is so much opportunity ahead of us.
Brian Roccapriore
