When I’m awakened at 6 a.m. or midnight by Avelo jets thundering over our Short Beach home, I think of folks leaving for Florida or returning from golf at Myrtle Beach. What a shame it is that our government won’t protect East Haven neighborhoods from destruction by noise and poisonous emissions from vacationers seeking rest and relaxation.
