10/26/2022 08:00 AMI recently found out that the Clinton American Legion Post 66 received a grant from the state worth almost half a million dollars to support upgrades to the facility. From what I’ve heard, there are parts of the building that are almost a century old; we need to make sure that building is in good shape for our veterans! I’m so glad the American Legion Post is getting this support. It does so much to support our military veterans and they always do so much to help the local community.
I learned that two of our local representatives helped get this grant from the state. I wanted to thank State Senator Norm Needleman and State Representative Christine Goupil for their hard work and support for the community. With the upcoming election in mind, I hope people vote to keep them as our elected officials. By getting this funding, they’re truly supporting our town, and I’m excited to see what else they can do for us.
