10/26/2022 08:00 AMWe all need a break from rising costs these days. I am grateful to Senator Norm Needleman as he voted for creating a child tax credit program earlier this year, and the money I received helped my family. The tax credit was worth $250 per child, which made things a little easier in my household.
I am relieved that our leaders saw there was a way to provide help to families across the state. I’m happy someone is looking out for us right now. The tax credit arrived right around the time school started, and when I had to balance new clothes and new school supplies on top of food, gas, and everything else, it was a significant relief to have a little extra to go around. I’m grateful to Senator Needleman and his colleagues for voting for this. Norm makes sense for our district, and that’s why he has my family’s vote on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
