Some Nerve
So, now the 10,000 Hawks members want to reach out to Branford in their opposition to Tweed Airport? They’ve got some nerve.
“For the environmental health of the shoreline,” they say. Really?
Where were they when one million tons of raw sewage washed up on the beaches of East Haven and Branford in the summer of 2020? And why aren’t they fighting for a cleaner Mill River, which is the real culprit polluting Long Island Sound?
I encourage Branford citizens not to fall for this scam, perpetrated by those who saw only the low price in buying a house near an airport. The 10,000 Hawks were never there for Branford, so we don’t owe them a thing.
