A Positive Impact

The community discussions on the equity and social justice work coordinated by the Board of Education give all citizens a chance to ask questions and hear how these programs are implemented in the Guilford Public Schools. There have been two of these events so far and I believe they have had a positive impact on all who participated.

I encourage anyone who has an interest in these topics to attend future events and participate in the discussions with Superintendent of Schools Dr. Paul Freeman, the board members attending, and other community members. I also encourage students and teachers to attend and share their classroom experiences, as they relate to the equity and social justice initiatives introduced into the Guilford Public Schools, with the community when these meetings resume in the fall.
