Stay Strong

Six months ago our town voted by a 2-to-1 margin for candidates who support of the actions of our Board of Education (BOE). I am grateful to the town for that vote and wish to thank its chairman Katie Balestracci as well as its other members for its time and effort in devotion to Guilford students, particularly over the past year, as they and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Paul Freeman have been and continue to be blasted with insults and accusations ginned up by national media and politicians. I encourage the BOE members to stay strong and thank them and the many Republicans, Democrats, and Independents who have volunteered for our town, serving apolitically on boards and commissions over the years.
