Excellence and Dedication
Jan. 29’s storm brought traveling challenges for those who had to brave the elements, unless they traveled through Chester. Chester’s Public Works Department was out battling the snow totals throughout to keep our roads passable.
The following Monday as I traveled through several neighboring towns, all I could think was, “These road conditions would never be OK with our Chester crew.” I can personally attest that Chester’s roads were far superior in drivability than other towns, even two days later, and it was visually evident that our tax dollars are well spent on the Public Works Department.
I encourage your readers to join me in thanking our Public Works crew—John Divis, Bruce Sypher, Ryan Malcarne, and Scott Mills—for their excellence and dedication to public safety every time there is a weather event. Those guys rock!
