A Model for the Rest

As a board member of Connecticut River Area Health District (CRAHD, I would like to thank Police Chief Michael Spera and all the Old Saybrook police for the help they’ve provided over the past year during the pandemic.

When the state was in complete lockdown, they delivered many hundreds of meals in town for Meals on Wheels. They were instrumental in setting up flu clinics and more recently the vaccine clinic. With their help and the leadership of Scott Martinson and Sherry Carlson of CRAHD, Old Saybrook is a model for the rest of the state.
