Committed to Safety

As a mother, I support legislation to ensure the safety of our children and all members of our society. State Representative Christine Palm (D-36) has been a strong advocate for gun violence prevention. She is committed to the safety of her constituents and has supported common-sense legislation that will save lives.

In response to the tragic death of a Guilford adolescent, Representative Palm voted for Ethan’s Law, which passed on an overwhelmingly bipartisan basis, requiring the safe storage of firearms in homes to protect minors. This is responsible gun ownership, and who can argue against safety measures to protect our children?

In fact, the majority of Americans, including owners of firearms, agree that we must find solutions to gun violence in our nation. We are fortunate to have legislators who are committed to our safety and a more secure environment for our children. I look forward to a future that is free from gun violence and believe that we all have a responsibility to work together. Representative Palm is a legislator whom I can trust to ensure that future.
