10/14/2020 08:00 AMI’m writing today in support of our town of Madison. I’m writing to encourage others to do the same by voting for Noreen Kokoruda (R-101) for state representative. Noreen is a woman who stands up for Madison women, Madison small business, Madison students, Madison seniors, and for all Madison residents who cannot stand up for themselves.
During these unprecedented times, small towns need leaders like Noreen who have a proven track record of working across the aisle to make things happen. She has built strong relationships with her fellow representatives based on her honesty and integrity. People respect Noreen because of who she is, regardless of their party affiliation. Noreen is who we need in Hartford.
Noreen is the conduit between state and local officials. She is incredibly effective in this role because she has the experience of being both a town and a state representative as well as a dedicated mother and a grandmother. All of these roles have proven over time to be the key to her success.
Small towns in Connecticut are in uncharted territories. The financial future is uncertain. Taxpayers need an experienced reliable leader to help us navigate through these times. Noreen is that leader.
Noreen’s advice and guidance has personally helped me lead during times of significant state educational changes, natural disasters, difficult financial times, and now a health crisis. Her experience has guided Madison out of the most difficult times and we are incredibly lucky that she has decided to run again. We need her now more than ever.
I implore people, “Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer”—John F. Kennedy. Noreen Kokoruda is the right answer.
