Stop and Say Thanks
I recently had out-patient surgery and required assistance to get up a few steps into my house. After my wife made a few frustrating calls for help, we contacted the Madison Senior Center and we learned that the Madison Ambulance Association provides a “lift assist” service to help our residents. Simply call the Madison Police Department non-emergency number and help will be dispatched.
What a relief to know this kind of assistance is available. Within five minutes of calling the Madison Police, three very cordial and competent EMTs arrived and safely moved me into our house. We are so grateful for their assistance and the peace of mind we felt.
As with all of our first responders, we need to stop and say thanks to Madison Ambulance for all the services it provided to our community. They are most deserving of our gratitude and our donations.
