I support the re-election of Peter Barrett as our probate judge without reservation. He is experienced, smart, ethical, and responsible. Judge Barrett applies the law impartially and in a fair manner aimed at helping people. Judge Barrett knows the history, the guardians and the families concerned with pending sensitive cases that involve minors, the elderly and disabled persons.

This important position really should not be decided by politics. When you have an excellent probate judge on the job, as we do, you should keep him.

I encourage your readers to vote responsibly on Nov. 6 and re-elect Peter Barrett as probate judge for Madison and Guilford.
