Never Simply Politics
Robert Imperato is asking for your readers’ support to serve in the Town of Branford’s 102nd District General Assembly seat in the upcoming election. Bob is extremely qualified, especially if the measurement alone for office was how good of a person you are! Bob has raised four children through the Branford School system. He was one of the dedicated parents who made sure his kids and their classmates were safe and comfortable with their surroundings. After his children grew up, he started working with me on the RTM, took on a role at Water Pollution Control Authority and headed up the RTM Public Services Committee (which covers police, fire, etc.). While on those committees, he developed an outstanding rapport with chiefs and rank and file firefighters and police officers. They learned that while Bob was tough on spending, he knows what is needed, and he knows what must be presented and why to ensure the RTM and Branford citizens knew exactly what was going on.
Bob is the type of person who, when he knows you’re down, will make sure he checks in with you. He’ll take a moment, a quick text or phone call, to ask how your kid, wife, or you are doing. He’ll ask, “Do you have what you need? What do you need me to do?”
Bob is the right person to take over this spot from retiring Lonnie Reed. He has the right temperament, and he knows that problem solving is never simply politics. I can guarantee Bob will reach out to others, will take that step, and will anger party-centric persons on the General Assembly.
I encourage your readers to join me and vote for Robert Imperato for General Assembly on Nov, 6, then rest assured we are in good hands.
