Invaluable Experience and Savvy
I am very proud to have attended the Republican Caucus here in Guilford on July 20 to support my friend Robert Hartmann, who is running for first selectman of our town. Bob was born and raised here and his love for Guilford is obvious by the fact that he is involved in so much that betters our beautiful town. Bob is the president-elect of the Guilford Rotary and a member of the Guilford Pension Committee, the Guilford Community Fund Board and the Guilford Keeping Society in the role of treasurer, among others.
This involvement in our community extends to the entire Hartmann family: Bob’s wife Laura and his children Chris and Kate who give so much to the town and its citizens, as well as helping those outside of town. Whether it’s helping to organize cleanup and beautifying of our town or fundraising for many wonderful charitable causes, the Hartmann’s are there and inspire others to be there and do great work for the community as well.
Most important for our town, Bob has a career in finance, tax consulting, and fund management that spans 30 years, and has his business right here in town. Guilford needs this invaluable experience and savvy to not just get through the current economic challenges, but to thrive through them and make our town an even more wonderful place for all and a place in which all are both happy and proud to live with their families. Guilford would be a very fortunate town to have him at the helm.
