I was alarmed to learn of plans to build a three-story U-Haul storage building on the former Mannix Chevrolet site. As a life-long Guilford resident who currently lives a quarter mile from the proposed site, I find it hard to believe this type of development fits our historic town. At 50,000 square feet and nearly 40 feet high, this building would be more than an eyesore!

I urge other community members to get involved, speak up, and stop this atrocity of a building from marring our beautiful town.
