If There Were a Way
If there were a way you could help a blind person see, you’d probably want to know more about it. And if there were a way you could help some of Madison’s deserving young persons with college tuition, you’d probably want to know something about that, too. What about helping to not only feed the hungry in Madison, but also helping with vision tests and eyeglasses for those who can’t afford it?
What is this all about? It’s about the Madison Lions Club, which serves our community as each of our members’ desire to give back to our community. We have so much and those around us often are struggling.
How do we do it? By fund drives that take place during the year. It takes a little time, but no more than you can afford. We are always conscious of all the pulls we face and constantly juggle our priorities.
If you readers are interested in serving their community, enjoying fellowship, and having fun while doing so, I’d love them to be our guest at a meeting. We welcome both ladies and gentlemen. We know they’will be surprised—I know I was when I understood the force of the Madison Lions Club.
