Ambassadors for our Town

Guilford Art Center would like to thank the town of Guilford and its citizens, businesses, and our many volunteers who helped to make the 59th annual Craft Expo on the Guilford Green another wonderful event. This year’s Craft Expo hosted a robust crowd that enjoyed the extraordinary, handmade American crafts, as well as other town attractions such as restaurants and shops.

Guilford Art Center very much appreciates the patronage of the thousands of community members and visitors who attend the event, as they are making a difference by their support of the arts. Proceeds from Craft Expo support Guilford Art Center’s educational and community programs, which serve Guilford, the shoreline, and the state of Connecticut. Our fantastic corps of more than 100 volunteers who help make the show run are also instrumental in the success of the event. They not only dedicate their time to help manage the show, but also serve as important ambassadors for our town and its cultural riches.

We also very much appreciate the financial support from our many sponsors and the support of the Guilford town departments with whom we work: Police, Parks & Recreation, Building, Health, Public Works, and Fire departments, and especially the Selectmen’s Office.

Guilford Art Center looks forward to continue our mission of nurturing and supporting excellence in the arts in this wonderful community.
