Energy and Enthusiasm
When I first moved to town, I kept hearing Tom Banisch’s name through Little League and other youth sports, St. Margaret’s Church, Rotary Club, and the Chamber of Commerce. I’d go for a walk or drive and see him on his daily run. I’d go to a blood drive and he’d be there with his sleeve rolled up (he’s donated almost 10 gallons). I’d attend a high school football game and he’s the announcer. This guy does everything, and he does it well.
Tom has earned accolades from all sides, including Madison Jaycees’ Distinguished Service Award, Madison Little League Man of the Year, Madison Rotary Club’s Paul Harris Fellow, Madison Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year, grand marshal of the Madison Jaycees’ Turkey Trot, and just last week, the New Haven-Middlesex County Realtors Community Service Award. The list is seemingly endless, as is his energy and enthusiasm.
It’s that energy and enthusiasm, civic involvement, and love of Madison, coupled with business experience and a promise to keep our town fiscally fit that make Tom the person for the job. Tom has my vote on Nov. 3, and I hope he has your readers’, too.
