Thanks from Culinary Arts Night
On behalf of the Exchange Club of Madison and Bob Dunlop, chairman of the 13th annual Culinary Arts Night, we want to thank the townspeople of Madison and surrounding towns for their attendance and donations to our silent auction and raffle.
Special thanks go to our sponsors, including Platinum sponsors Guilford Savings Bank and ARIA Asset & Retirement Associates, Gold sponsors Martens and Heads! and Laurie and Jack Heflin, and Silver sponsors Madison Racquet & Swim Club and Gordon Gregoretti.
Their support allows our organization to contribute to its major causes including five child abuse prevention centers throughout Connecticut, the Madison 4th of July Parade, and scholarships and awards for Madison youth.
Held on the First Niagara Bank Courtyard in downtown Madison on Sept. 16, the evening was gloriously warm and clear. We want to thank those fine food restaurants from along the shoreline who took the time to prepare and bring expert staff members to serve their delicious hors d’oeuvres: Café Allegre, Friends & Company, Bar Bouchee, Cuckoo’s Nest, Donahues Madison Beach Grille, Aspen, On the Rocks, Brother Mike’s-Madison, M & J’s Beach Grille, The Wharf at Madison Beach Hotel, Westbrook Lobster, RJ’s Café, Moxie, KC’s Pub, Burrata Kitchen, Cristy’s Dolly Madison, Ballou’s Wine Bar, Clam Castle, La Foresta, and Guilford Mooring.
The wine and beer purveyors in attendance included offerings from Franco’s Discount Wine, Spirits of Madison, Burrata, Madison Wine Exchange, and The Madison Wine Shop.
Also, we owe appreciation for the donation of the great sounds of the Mo Johnson Band featuring Four Barrel Billy, together reunited for the event. Joining the evening delights were specialty providers including Madison Cheese, the Shoreline Vine, and a table of waters offered at the front gate by First Niagara Bank, which contributed use of its courtyard.
