A Positive Impact
We all hope our children will have a better life than ours. We would do anything to open the door of opportunity to help them achieve that goal. Imagine being in a position to help a young student explore an area of study that might just become their profession later in life. Right here in Clinton we have an organization that has dedicated itself to making a difference in the life of Clinton students. Through scholarships and internships, students are able to pursue areas that might be future career fields.
The work of the Clinton Education Foundation doesn’t stop there—it also provides assistance to our teachers. Innovations and enhancements to existing student course students are considered. Many of these exciting and challenging items are ones that are not included in existing budgets. These grants that our teachers apply for not only will make for better teaching, but will help to introduce our students to new subject matter.
The Clinton Education Foundation continues to reach out and seek other ways to have a positive impact on the Clinton community. Families Helping Families was the recipient of a very generous donation from its Adult Spelling Bee competition. This grant will be used to help continue to fund Families Helping Families’ five community outreach programs. Through these programs the needs of Clinton families experiencing difficult times are addressed. So we thank the Clinton Education Foundation for all their efforts to help improve the Clinton community.
