Much-Needed Support

The Old Saybrook Fire Department and the American Red Cross would like to thank residents for their participation in the Nov. 1 blood drive at the firehouse. Close to 50 people came out to donate much-needed blood, which we sincerely appreciate!

We want to offer a special thank you to the manager and staff of Walmart in Old Saybrook, ShopRite in Clinton, Angie and Mark from J.A.M.S.S. restaurant in Old Saybrook, Walt's Market in Old Saybrook, and Dunkin' Donuts in Old Saybrook for their very generous food donations.

We would also like to thank Tim Lammers of FOX CT 61, Gil Simmons and Sam Kantrow of NEWS8/WTNH, Ron Carson of Soft Rock WMBW 106.5 FM, Lee Elci of News Now 94.9 FM, Bob Muscatel of WLIS 1420 AM, as well as the Harbor News and the New Haven Advocate publications. We truly appreciate that the community took time to support the American Red Cross Blood Drive to help save lives.

Here's to a job well done!
