Above and Beyond

The winners of the fifth annual Cow Chip Raffle were Carey DeSisto (first prize/$2,500), Nancy Paulhus (second prize/$1,000), Olivia Reis (third prize/$750), Chris and Deb Stankiewicz (fourth prize/$500), and Andy Conti (fifth prize/$250).

Thanks go to all of those who participated in the selling and purchasing of these tickets and to those who volunteered their time to sell tickets at the Corn & Potato Festival.

Also, thanks go to Mike Doody, who donated the five cows for the event; Rob Hart, who was my line man; and Fran Merola and the Public Works crew for putting all those lines on the field.

A special thanks goes to Lynn Sauro, who went above and beyond the call of duty to make this year's Cow Chip Raffle successful.

It was great working with this fine group of people.
