Much-Appreciated Support

Forty-three super volunteers worked very hard for many hours getting out the Friends of the Scranton Library membership mailing. More than 8,000 pieces were put together to be sent to Madison residents.

We thank Phyllis Wigham and Marcia Sokolnicki of the library staff for their assistance with the mailing. Also, thanks to Carol and Harry Robinson, who arranged the mailing boxes and then brought them to the post office.

The membership funds support the Friends' many free programs for all ages and also contribute to the library operating budget. I encourage your readers to join the Friends of the Scranton Library so that all these enrichment programs can continue. Their support will be much appreciated.
