The Clinton Huskies 17-U AAU baseball team faced the CT Riptide in recent East Shore Travel League action. The Huskies defeated the Riptide to improve their record to 5-5 on the year.
On July 1, the Huskies played a road game against the CT Riptide at Ceppa Field in Meriden and won the matchup by the final score of 9-8. Nick Spaziano enjoyed a huge day at the plate by going 4-for-4 with 4 doubles to lead the Clinton offense. Dillon Moore had a big at-bat that led to the Huskies scoring the game-winning run. Jackson Pray and Ryan Donodio both saw time on the mound for Clinton and combined to pitch the Huskies to the victory.
