Senior Legion Baseball

The Branford Senior American Legion 19-U baseball team had two games with Hamden on its schedule last week. Branford took defeats against Hamden in both contests to move to 0-4 for the summer season.

Post 83 hosted Hamden on June 19 and was edged out by the final score of 4-3 at Branford High School. Then on June 21, Branford faced Hamden on the road and took an 8-2 loss in the game at Legion Field.

Junior Legion Baseball

The Branford Junior Legion 17-U baseball team took a couple of losses in recent action and now has a record of 0-5 on the year.

Post 83 played a home game versus Fairfield at Branford High School on June 21 and took a 10-0 defeat in the matchup. Then on June 23, Post 83 hosted Fairfield for another game and lost the contest by a 7-0 score.
