Senior Nic Wyszkowski represented the Valley Regional boys’ tennis team when he competed in the singles bracket of the Individual Invitational Tournament held at Wesleyan University from June 6 to 10. Wyszkowski faced William Mathias of Avon in the first round of the tournament and took a 6-1, 6-4 loss in the contest.

Wyszkowski played No. 1 singles for the Warriors during the 2022 season, helping the team finish the year with a record of 13-1 while winning the Shoreline Conference title. Wyszkowski also claimed the title at the Shoreline Conference 1-2 Singles Tournament this season. Wyszkowski earned three straight-sets victories to make it to the championship match, where he won a 6-2, 2-6, 6-2 decision over Joseph Morse of Morgan to claim the crown.
