07/06/2021 12:00 AMThe Guilford 19-U AAU baseball team improved its record to 4-2 on the year by winning two of its three games in East Shore Travel League action last week.
Guilford started off its slate by hosting a Sunday morning doubleheader against the Winsted Copperheads at Guilford High School on June 27. Guilford came away with a split of the double dip by taking a 2-1 loss to the Copperheads in the first game and then winning the second contest by the final score of 12-3.
Then on June 30, Guilford was back on its home field to face CT Hank’s Yanks. Guilford notched a 5-2 victory over Hank’s Yanks to earn its fourth win of the summer season.
