Miles for McGuirk 5K

Branford High School is hosting the inaugural Miles for McGuirk Virtual 5K on Sunday, Oct. 25 to benefit former Hornets’ field hockey head coach Cathy McGuirk. McGuirk was recently diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and the Miles for McGuirk event intends to help McGuirk fight back with the same tenacity that she showed her student-athletes during her 41-year career at Branford High School. Donations are welcome through Venmo or by check. All proceeds will go directly to ALS research.
