Sophomore Egan Rothrock represented Valley Regional when he swam in two events at the Class S State Championship at Wesleyan University on March 11. Rothrock finished 20th in the 200 individual medley and placed 22nd in the 100 breaststroke at the meet.

Rothrock finished with a time of 2:14.20 to take 20th place in the 200 individual medley, scoring five points on behalf of the Warriors. The sophomore had previously posted a time of 2:13.97 at the Class S Trials at the Cheshire Community Pool on March 9.

In the 100 breaststroke, Rothrock came in 22nd place with a time of 1:08.16 to score three points at the Class S Championship. He swam a time of 1:06.97 at the trials. Between his two performances at the championship, Rothrock scored eight points for the Warriors that put them in 31st place out of 32 squads in Class S.
