East Haven’s 8th-grade boys’ travel basketball squad defeated St. Theresa’s of Trumbull by a 54-34 final to take its league title. The East Haven 8th-grade boys’ travel basketball team recently won its travel league championship. East Haven took the title by earning a 54-34 victory against St. Theresa’s of Trumbull in the league championship game. The athletes who led East Haven to the league crown were Tyler Cacace, Giovanni Caputo, Joe Chevere, Angelo D’Amato, Jamie Fonseca, Rocco Lombardi, Headley Martin, Josiah Perez, Nate Rivera, DJ Salato, Irbin Serrano Santiago, and Ryan Vallie. East Haven was coached by Chris Lombardi and CJ Lombardi.
