The North Haven High School girls’ basketball team recently held its annual car wash fundraiser at the McDonald’s on Washington Ave on Aug. 25. The Indians raised $1,500, and all the proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the purchasing of new basketballs and workout shirts for the team, in addition to helping to defray the cost for athletes to participate in the fall basketball league. Attending the car wash with Head Coach Ray Degnan were Indians’ athletes Julia Bogen, Zoi Burns, Juliana DeAngelo, Colleen Lucey, Katie Myjak, Laura Petrafesa, and Ally Vollero.

North Haven’s players and coaches thank everyone who came out to the car wash to support the program. The team also sends thanks to the McKnight family for their support with the fundraiser and all the support they provide to Indians’ athletics.
