Girls’ Basketball

The Westbrook girls’ basketball team lost its final two games of the season last week and finished the year with a record of 7-13, coming up one win shy of qualifying for the Class S State Tournament.

On Feb. 12, the Knights had a game at East Hampton, where they lost to the Bellringers 56-43. Two days later, Westbrook hosted Old Lyme and took a 55-24 defeat.

Boys’ Basketball

The Knights dropped a pair of recent decisions to move to 4-15 on the year. On Feb. 13, Westbrook hosted East Hampton and lost by the final score of 79-52. Three days later, the Knights were on the road to match up with Old Lyme and took a 58-33 defeat against the Wildcats.
