The Hand JV wrestling squad recently had a strong second-place finish at a tournament at Bristol Eastern High School on Jan. 15. The Tigers went 4-1 at the tournament by defeating Trumbull (55-15), New Milford (30-15), Bristol Central (37-16), and Foran (36-21). Hand also took a 34-28 defeat against Bristol Eastern. All totaled, the Tigers finished with a combined 94 takedowns and 24 pins for the event.

The athletes who competed for Hand included Joseph Aurora, Brian Beirne, Jack Burke, Joseph Doerr, Jakob Firth, Carter Ganino, Ian Hurley, Rocky Mayer, Aiden McCabe, Sean Nichols, Sam Stein, Drew Westphal, and Sam Williams.
