The Shoreline Golf Society recently held its final major of the 2017 season with the Match Play Championship, which was contested at the Fox Hopyard Golf Course in East Haddam. Branford’s Gerry Mann prevailed over fellow Branford resident Ron Delucia (Branford) by taking a six-hold lead with four holes left (6 and 4) to win the championship, while Bill Fitzgerald of Clinton defeated Guilford’s Parker Sulkowski (2 and 1) for third place.

The season-long Four Ball Championship also took place with the team of Madison’s Patrick Saucier (Madison) and Bruce Tischer from West Haven defeating Robert Criscuolo (Branford) and Fitzgerald by taking a two-hole lead with two holes to play (2-up).
