Clinton Huskies Lose in East Shore Semis, Finish with 14 Wins

The Clinton Huskies baseball squad was victorious in its first game of the East Shore Travel League Playoffs and then dropped its next contest to finish with a record of 13-6-2 for the season.
In their first game, the Huskies faced off against the Connecticut Outlaws at Sage Park on Aug. 9. The Huskies secured the victory by shutting out the Outlaws 4-0 to advance to the semifinals.
The next day, Clinton matched up against the Northern Connecticut Mustangs at East Shore Field 1 and took a 7-1 loss to the eventual league champions in a semifinal matchup.
