DiDomizio Records the Top Score in Week 17 of the Deep River Horseshoe League
Week 17 action in the Deep River Horseshoe League saw Mike DiDomizio of the B Division lead all players with a score of 134. Fellow B Division competitor Mark Goodale took second place with a 132, while Bill Brown rounded out the top three in the B tier with his total of 118.
In the A Division, Dave Modine came out on top once again with a score of 130. Dave Steuerwald finished second by shooting a 121, and Victor Peckaitis claimed third place with a 120.
As for the C Division, Dave Admaiec totaled an 89 for first place, Cody Layton threw an 86, and Gary Beckwith turned in a score of 83 to place third.
In the team standings, the Dodgers hung onto the top spot with a record of 61-41, while the Cubs are two games back at 59-43. The Braves are still in at third with a 58.5-43.5 record. The Giants and Mets finish off the top five with their records of 56.5-46.5 and 56-46, respectively. The rest of the league shakes out as follows: Marlins (54.5-47.5), Pirates (53.5-48.5), Padres (52.5-49.5), Tigers (52-50), Royals (51-51), Red Sox (51-51), Yankees (50.5-51.5), Rangers (48.5-53.5), Cardinals (47.5-54.5), Indians (46.5-55.5), Orioles (45.5-56.5), White Sox (45.5-56.5), Angels (44-58), reds (44-58), and Astros (42.5-59.5).
