The Clinton Huskies went up against the Northern Connecticut Mustangs in a doubleheader at the Indian River Complex on July 9. The first game was a pitcher’s duel as the Huskies held the Mustangs scoreless through seven innings and won 2-0. In the nightcap, the scoring picked up a bit, and Clinton prevailed over the Mustangs by a 4-2 final. The two wins pushed the Huskies record to 9-2 on the season.
