Warriors’ Boys’ Hoops Presents Postseason Awards

The Valley Regional boys’ basketball squad recently held its annual postseason banquet, at which several members of Warriors were presented with honors for their performances throughout the recent winter campaign.

Senior captain guard Jordan Moran won the Most Valuable Player Award for the Warriors. The Defensive Player of the Year Award went to junior captain guard Ernest Jean-Pierre. The Warrior Award, which is given to a player who shows tremendous toughness during the season, was presented to senior guard Ryan Kelly. Junior guard Zach Stevens earned the Most Improved Player Award for the Warriors. The Coaches’ Award went to both senior forward Cory Craco and sophomore guard Kevin Fasulo.

The senior captains for next year’s squad will be Jean-Pierre, guard/forward Colin Sparaco, and forward Ben Weinstein, while guard/forward Ryan Santos will be a junior captain for Valley. Jean-Pierre and Santos were junior captains on this year’s team.
