The Connecticut Soccer Coaches Association (CSCA) held its 44th annual banquet on Jan. 22 and two boys from the Class L state champion Hand boys’ soccer team were recognized at the event. Drew Montgomery was selected as a member of the 2016 Class L All-State Team and Matt Parker was named the 2016 Class L State Tournament Most Valuable Player. The Tigers defeated Barlow 1-0 in double overtime to claim their first state title since 1997 last November.
